A 2-year-old girl named Poppy was reunited with Pasco County firefighters after they saved her life. Poppy suffered a head injury and was brought to a Land O’ Lakes urgent care when she experienced seizures and vomiting. Fire rescue was called and sprang into action, getting Poppy into a medical helicopter to get the specialized care she needed. Officials commended the fire rescue crew and said Poppy fully recovered without any lasting injuries due to their swift response.
