The Sunshine State’s candidate qualifying deadline came and went noon Friday, meaning Floridians now have a clearer picture of the races for all 28 of the state’s congressional seats — and the race for U.S. Senate. Every congressional race appeared to feature a competitive race except for one: the Broward and Palm Beach County-area seat currently held by Democrat Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick.
