A 70-year-old man was killed by a vehicle while attempting to cross State Road 54 early Sunday morning in Pasco County, Florida. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating the incident, which occurred shortly after midnight. The driver of the vehicle initially stopped but then fled the scene. A witness described the suspect vehicle as a silver Nissan sports sedan. Troopers are asking witnesses to contact FHP if they have any information.
