Amy McBride, a U.S. History teacher at Pepin Academies in New Port Richey, Florida, has implemented an AI assistant named BaxterBot to help students with their coursework. BaxterBot, resembling a dog, is programmed by Scholar Education and assists students with their questions when the teacher is busy. It also helps McBride with lesson planning and data collecting. The program is beneficial for shy students and those with learning disabilities.
