AdventHealth Zephyrhills is using AI in a new procedure to help prevent heart attacks and identify blockages in the arteries that lead to heart disease. The CathWorks program uses AI to measure blockages in the coronary arteries, which determines whether the patient needs a stent. The program replaces an invasive procedure traditionally used to measure blockages and lowers the risk for patients while providing validating data for cardiologists.
