A World War II veteran, Benny Scott, turned 100 years old on Sunday. Scott, a college football player, was celebrated by neighbors at a community center and was known for his exceptional football career, with a memorable 125-yard touchdown run in 1949. Deborah Dilks wrote a book about his life titled ‘From World War II to Run of The Year’.
