Community Opposition To Massive Sports Entertainment Development In Trinity

The proposed ‘Trinity’ development, a 800-acre sports entertainment community six times the size of Disney Springs, has stirred controversy in Trinity, Florida. Hundreds of residents have signed a petition to stop the development, citing concerns about community feel, increased traffic, flood hazards, and wildlife threat. The project, by Trinity Development Initiative, includes sports stadiums, arenas, hotels, retail centers, an arts district, restaurants, medical centers, and residential developments.
