Residents of the Connected City, a state-authorized pilot program, are unhappy as plans to rezone a parcel of land to build a mixed-use project that includes apartments were approved. The residents feel that the amenities promised, such as parks and cultural destinations, have not been delivered as planned. County commissioners will now have to decide whether to impose a one-year moratorium on development in the Connected City.
