Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to a construction accident on SR 56, rescuing an injured patient from a 10-foot deep hole, and airlifting them to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries. One lane of Eastbound SR 56 near Wyndfields Blvd. is currently open, with delays expected due to ongoing investigation.
