Derek White opened Afford-a-Brew, a store selling homebrew supplies and offering brewing classes, in Land O’ Lakes to cater to local craft beer enthusiasts. Participants in the classes receive a hands-on lesson on brewing and go home with a case of beer. White is a homebrewer himself and states 1 out of 5 customers become regular brewers after taking the class.
