A fatal crash occurred on State Road 54 in New Port Richey, Florida early Saturday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 23-year-old man driving a Chevy Corvette lost control, crossed the median, and collided with an eastbound Mercedes C300. The driver of the Corvette died at the scene, while the driver of the Mercedes sustained serious injuries.
