Duke Energy Florida Seeks To Recoup $1.1 Billion To $1.3 Billion In Storm Restoration Costs

Duke Energy Florida estimates it will need to recoup $1.1 billion to $1.3 billion in costs from restoring power after three hurricanes this year. The utility plans to seek state approval to pass these costs on to customers, with the largest costs stemming from Hurricane Milton.
