The Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Florida will not have a vibrant rainbow light display for Pride Month this year due to objections from a single county commissioner. The FDOT made no public announcement about the objection and instead announced a patriotic display of red, white and blue lights that will run all summer. This decision will wipe out the Pride rainbow lights, as well as displays for other special days like Juneteenth and Mental Health Awareness Day.
