A Florida man, Bob Calamita, has finally received his $1,000 lottery winnings after a dispute over overpaid unemployment benefits. He was initially told he owed $3,000 for an error caused by a computer-generated fraud-fighting measure, but after intervention from Consumer Investigator Shannon Behnken, he was provided a letter showing he didn’t owe anything.
