Florida School District Plans To Reinstate Homework As A Part Of Student Grades

The Pasco County school district in Florida intends to modify its 2022 rules, reinstating homework as a basis for student grades. The aim is to better prepare students, as district superintendent, John Legg, argues that current methods do not permit meaningful practice for students. Despite concerns over possible negative impact on family time and the back-and-forth national debate about the worth of homework, Legg, along with board members, seek to change this policy, in hopes of addressing the district’s struggling math scores.
