Dayspring Academy in Pasco County, Florida is testing a new literacy tutoring program called Ignite Reading. The program is part of a statewide initiative and involves students receiving one-on-one virtual tutoring for 15 minutes each day. Principal Wendy Finlay reports significant gains in reading for the students, with several moving from below grade level to on or above grade level.
