Head Lice Policies Changed: No More ‘no-nit’ Policies, Says AAP And CDC

New advice from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) urges schools to stop the ‘no-nit’ policies as unnecessary and disruptive for students and families. The study conducted by Nix, the lice shampoo and prevention company, reveals that 66% of parents were unaware of this shift and another 28% of parents admitted to concealing their child’s lice diagnosis in the past.
