Cameras equipped with Flock surveillance technology are being used in Hernando County to read and record license plates. No official acknowledgment has been made by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office or the county government, despite requests from the press. The ACLU has expressed concerns over the privacy violations caused by these cameras, which track every car’s location, whereabouts, and travel times.
