Two New Port Richey residents were hailed as heroes after their quick thinking and bravery prevented further injury during a pedestrian accident on US Highway 19. Joaquaya Solomon-Bryant and Fred Bryant rushed into action to divert oncoming vehicles from the victim, which allowed first responders to reach the scene safely. The New Port Richey Police Department commended their courage and highlighted them as shining examples of the city’s finest citizens.
