Historical Flooding Hits Pasco County, Rescuing 150 Residents

Pasco County, Florida, experienced ‘historical flooding’ with 150 people rescued from communities like Elfers to Zephyrhills. Residents like Nick Burgess, who thought they made it through Hurricane Milton unscathed, woke up to power outages and flooded streets. The Hillsborough River to the south of the city is in major flood stage and the Anclote River also saw flooding. A new shelter for flood victims was opened at the Wesley Chapel Recreation Complex.
