Local veterans hockey nonprofit, Lightning Warriors, hosted the fifth annual Hockey Heals 22 event to raise awareness for the 22 veteran suicides happening daily. The event, played from 2 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday, featured 17 games over 22 straight hours. All funds raised go to the Lightning Warriors program and two nonprofits offering mental health resources to veterans.
