Homeowners in the Riverside Village Estates community in Florida are celebrating after the county commissioners unanimously approved a plan to keep more than 40 acres of land undeveloped, ending a 10-year battle. The decision will cost residents around $143 a year for the next 15 years, and is worth it for them to avoid additional traffic, congestion, and drainage issues.
