Despite reports of financial troubles, the original owners of Hooters, HMC Hospitality Group, say that their business is good and that new locations like the one planned for Wesley Chapel, are still coming as planned. HMC claims to have no financial ties with Hooters of America and is experiencing record sales. In addition, fast-casual chain Portillo’s will be opening in Wesley Chapel soon, taking over the current Rock N’ Brews location.
