Hurricane Milton brought significant damage to Pasco County, with the eastern half hit hardest. The Florida Department of Health advised against swimming due to affected water quality. Mandatory evacuations were ordered in certain zones, schools closed, and shelters opened. As of 7 a.m., the Pasco Sheriff’s Office reported 140 calls about roadway obstructions and was preparing for river flooding in two areas.
