Josephine Antonello, a resident of The Gardens at Beacon Square in New Port Richey, has faced several hardships after Hurricane Helene. Despite the condo association’s order for residents to leave for up to a year for repairs, Antonello has returned to her flooded condo, citing it as her home. The association claims flood damage is covered by FEMA, but Antonello alleges that no work has been done to her place for over three months and her condo was burglarized while she was away.
