Islamic Community Of New Port Richey Celebrates Ramadan

About 400 people gathered at the Islamic Center of New Port Richey for the evening meal, known as iftar, during Ramadan in Florida. The community observes the 30-day fast, which involves fasting from food and water from sunrise to sunset, reflecting on the past and making New Year’s resolutions. The meal at the Islamic center is open to the public and all religions.
