Land O’ Lakes High School’s flag football coach Shawn Millard was named the 2025 Coach of the Year by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Millard guided the team to a 15-2 record, including a district championship, and quarterback Sophia Spiegel had an impressive season with 2,961 passing yards and 64 total touchdowns. Despite a first-round playoff loss to Springstead, Millard was selected from eight other local coaches.
