The New Port Richey Library hosted a Local Writers Showcase from March 16-22, supporting and celebrating local writers at all levels. The event included a writing retreat, workshops, and a local showcase featuring readings, talks, and sales. The library also hosts a critique group that meets weekly. The event was well-attended and staff were surprised at the number of writers in the area.
