A man who served as a ‘money mule’ in a nationwide scheme that involved government impersonators and defrauded two Tampa Bay-area women of almost $1 million was sentenced to six years in federal prison. The judge described the crime as ‘evil and wicked’, noting it targeted older adults with threats of arrest.
