Pasco County commissioners unanimously confirmed Ryan Guynn as the new fire chief, after his impressive leadership during two hurricanes. Guynn, who began his career at the Dade City Fire Department and joined Pasco Fire Rescue in 2003, was interim chief for the past two months. He passed credit to his department of 800 firefighters and paramedics, citing their exceptional work and dedication.
