New Port Richey Acquires Riverfront Land

The City of New Port Richey has recently purchased a 2.73 acre riverfront property for $1.1 million. Plans for the property’s future are still in the early stages, and public feedback will be gathered before any decisions are made. The property neighbors the Sims Park Boat Ramp, a popular venue for boating enthusiasts. Connie Beebe, owner of Heros Downtown Subs, which is located near the property, hopes the new acquisition will make it more attractive for boaters.
