New Port Richey City Council Approves Zoning Change For Community Hospital Site Redevelopment

The New Port Richey City Council has approved the first steps to rezone the property where Community Hospital once stood, allowing for a development consisting of up to 473 townhomes and apartments. The development will be rental properties, with a mix of affordable and luxury housing options to address concerns about displacing longtime residents. The project will also include amenities such as clubhouses, swimming pools, and dog parks.
