The New Port Richey Public Library opened a new “Little Free Library” on February 26 at the Recreation & Aquatic Center in New Port Richey, Florida. The library has been sponsoring public bookcases for community members to share and exchange literature, with its fourth location being opened. 8-year-old McKenna, an ambassador for the library, donated a collection of picture books and youth fiction to kickstart the project. The library aims to provide easy access to books and educational resources for people of all ages through collaboration with the recreation center.
