Wesley Chapel-area high school softball teams have had success in the past few years. Cypress Creek is almost always in district contention, and last year, both Wiregrass Ranch and Wesley Chapel advanced to the state playoffs. All three high school softball teams kicked off the new season last week under new direction. Each high school softball team is expected to have a strong season with different prospects and challenges.
