Local leaders, donors, and community members gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony of Wesley Chapel’s new YMCA, which will bear the name of Mary W. Sierra. The new facility, located near BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel, is expected to open in summer 2026 and serve an area with over 27,000 youth and nearly 20,000 seniors. It is expected to create more than 300 jobs.
