A New Port Richey nurse was sentenced to three years in prison for issuing illegal prescriptions after her licensing expired. Debora Ryder, 56, pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy in September and conspired with another person to obtain more than a dozen IDs and driver’s licenses to issue prescriptions for controlled substances. She also issued prescriptions for oxycodone and hydromorphone in the name of her husband who died in 2018. Ryder has agreed to give up her nursing licenses.
