A 71-year-old Odessa woman died in a single-vehicle crash on State Road 54 Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred east of Marathon Road in Odessa shortly after 3:00 PM. The driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons and collided with two trees near the driveway of 11603 SR-54. SR-54 was closed for several hours during the investigation. The roadway has since reopened.
