The retail chain Ollie’s Bargain Outlet has acquired 40 former Big Lots stores from the Gordon Brothers investment firm, including three in Florida. Two local locations will remain open after converting to Ollie’s, which specializes in closeout merchandise. The deal is part of Ollie’s growth strategy and is expected to accelerate new store openings in 2025.
