Pasco County Approves Funds for New Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center

Pasco County Commissioners have approved $3.6 million to help BayCare open a Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center in New Port Richey, Florida. The center will provide mental health help, addiction screening and assessment, and will be the first of its kind in the Tampa Bay area. The building, currently being used as a storage space, will undergo renovations and be operational by December of this year. BayCare said the center will work with patients who do not have insurance.
