Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano has canceled a contract with the Florida PACE Funding Agency following a report of lavish spending by its leader. The report by the nonprofit investigative newsroom the Center for Public Integrity showed Mike Moran, executive director of the agency, spending thousands of dollars on out-of-state travel expenses and the agency paying out over $900,000 to fight legislative proposals for more aggressive oversight.
