Two Pasco County employees, Mitchell Wilkins from the utilities department and Stevie Mirrop from animal services, went to Germany for an exchange program coordinated by Rotary International. They worked at respective counterpart organizations in Germany and learned about differences in work methods, particularly in water supply and animal healthcare. The exchange is part of an ongoing relationship between Pasco County and Germersheim, a manufacturing powerhouse in Germany, and it has stimulated economic development in the county.
