Pasco County officials and the Dade City Police Department issued alerts for low-lying neighborhoods and communities near rivers and lakes due to rising floodwaters. Residents in several neighborhoods, including East Lake Park, were affected. Crews from out-of-town were called in to drain the water, with Pastor May Ross’s neighborhood being a focus.
