Pasco County Schools plans to launch a new Flexible Education program for homeschooled students next school year, allowing them to take up to three classes at a public school using the Step Up for Students Scholarship. The program is aimed at providing flexibility to homeschooling families who wish to supplement their children’s education with traditional school courses. However, some homeschooling families have concerns about the program as it might divert funds away from their educational needs.
