A Pasco County man who admitted providing information to Chinese intelligence officers about people and organizations in the U.S. for over a decade will spend four years in prison and pay a $250,000 fine. The man, Ping Li, expressed regret and deep sorrow for his actions, but a federal judge called him ‘an extremely smart man’ and noted his advanced degrees.
