Pasco County, Florida is receiving $585 million in storm relief through a Community Development Block grant from HUD to aid in recovery from Hurricanes Idalia, Helene, and Milton. Homeowner Ralph Cramton, who has been working to rebuild his home while battling leukemia, is making progress. County officials plan to use the funds for housing, infrastructure, economic revitalization, public services, and planning, with focus on storm water, water, and critical public facilities.
