In a major effort to enhance local fisheries, the Coastal Conservation Association Florida (CCA Florida) teamed up with the Duke Energy Mariculture Center and several community partners to release over 20,000 juvenile spotted sea trout into the Gulf of Mexico today. Local volunteers played a crucial role in the success of the event, with CCA Pasco board members, members of the Holiday Rotary Club, and representatives from the city of Port Richey all lending a helping hand.
