Pasco County Animal Services has temporarily suspended dog adoptions due to reported cases of canine pneumovirus, a highly contagious respiratory disease. The shelter is taking additional precautions to separate dogs and keep employees safe. Canine pneumovirus is not known to spread to cats or humans.
