Pasco County, Florida, hosted a meeting to gather feedback from residents who were affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. The county is updating its Stormwater Master Plan to protect life and property, comply with regulatory requirements, and achieve infrastructure resiliency. Residents shared their experiences of damaged culverts, flooded neighborhoods, and difficulties in pumping water from their properties. The county plans to give a final plan to commissioners in July and aims to address 15 top projects to improve flooding issues.
