Two students, Kayla Davis-Kuiper and Taylor Jones, share their stories of overcoming adversity and finding success in Pasco County High School. Davis-Kuiper, with the help of her family and teachers, turned her life around and is now set to graduate with a 3.4 GPA and plans to study radiography. Jones, who spiraled after her father’s death and got in legal trouble, found a new direction with the help of her boyfriend, a program for teen parents, and her teachers. Both students are being recognized as turnaround students of the year.
