Land O’ Lakes’ Plantation Palms Golf Course, a community staple with a history, has been sold to a multi-golf course operator. The course was acquired by Jim Feeney, who owns tracks in New Jersey and Charlotte. Bill Place, the previous owner, spent millions on renovations and expansions since purchasing it in 2016. Despite selling, Place plans to take up golf in retirement.
